I heard that there are a few people who have already viewed this site and there are a couple of good feedback. I'm glad. It's too bad they didn't leave their "footprints" behind --- signing the Guest List or posting a message here at the forum.
From my point of view I feel priveleged to know Rod all these years. Ever since I've known Rod, he always struck me as a man of many talents. That he pursued and excelled in his law profession is not surprising. What I find amazing is his incredible energy. He is a true artist bursting with ideas and rooted with deep sensitivity. It is evident in his writings whether in literature, song or in melodies.
Hopefully this websit will be one of his many legacies. I invite all of you to participate in this forum and share your ideas with Rod.
I've never seen the play Hacienda but after reading some of the lyrics I can imagine how mesmerizing it might have been. Are there any plans to present this again? Do you have the play in audio tape?
I'm thinking maybe (if I find the time) we could create a flash animation of the whole play. Perhaps make them in installments.
I know Rod is thinking of putting excerpts of some of his songs. J.B. (if you can read this) --- I think you're the point man on this.
Isn't it great that we can brainstorm like this inspite of the miles between us? Thank God for the internet.
