I see the city lights
What are they doing down there?
Is there someone I know
Who's running the show
Got a feeling that Somebody cares

The moon is out tonight
Shining down on secrets I keep
Did she tell me today
That love's on its way?
Or was it just a dream in my sleep?

I wonder how it seems
To one who has wings
One who can fly away.
I can only try to run
To be chasing the sun;
So I'll sit here and wait for the day.

I see the chapel lights.
Someone is saying a prayer.
I will sing her a song
As the moon watches on
The night and me and secrets to share.
