Long Days, Short Nights

Long days, short nights
Summer has come again;
Feels good, feels right
Driving around with a friend;
Stepped into an afternoon cafe,
Sip a glass of wine,
Read the signs right in your eyes
Summer is on your mind.
Bumble bees on bikers knees,
Babies and blue balloons,
Winter doubts, now summer breeze
Whisper the answers of June:
Maybe yes, and maybe it will last;
Kites above the sky;
Siren sounds on railroad tracks,
Watching the trains go by.
Ref. Walking along on the road
All through the day,
Strumming guitar on the sand,
Slipping a shell in your hand,
Watching the sun on the waters
Of the bay!
Long days, short nights
What does the summer say?
Hold her hand, hold it tight,
Dont let it slip away.
Friends tell me I go about it wrong
I waste it on a song;
Moon beams, make dreams,
All of the summer long.
Moon beams, make dreams.
All of the summer long.
All of the summer long.
